Losing the Ice is the perfect novella to compliment the first book in this series, Crossing the Ice. I'm usually a little hesitant to read sequels because once I get the happily ever after, I'm happy and don't want the couple to go through anymore drama. In Losing the Ice we see drama between Courtney and Josh, but it is something that makes their relationship stronger and it is a real scenario that happens between two people that have built their careers as athletes. It proves that the love between two people is stronger than the love of winning and that it's easier to overcome obstacles together as a couple, than trying to go it alone. Jennifer Comeaux loves figure skating and her love of the sport shines in her writing. If you loved Crossing the Ice and fell in love with Courtney and Josh like I did, you will enjoy their journey in this heartwarming novella, Losing the Ice.
