Meet M.E Carter and a List of My Favorite Sports Romances

Sports romance is one of my favorite genres.  I don't know if it's the idea of a handsome pro athlete falling for a "non-athlete" or just all the muscles, but I love to read sports romance!  One of my favorite books, Change of Hart, was written by author M.E Carter (if you scroll to the bottom I am giving away a signed copy!).  The story is fun, heartwarming, and full of muscular football players! Today not only do I want you to meet M.E. Carter, but I'm listing some of my top favorite sport romances.  Let me know in the comments some of your favorites, I'm always looking for new ones!

My newest release:  Change of Hart

Describe your books in 3 words: Puts a smile on your face.  (Yeah, I know that’s more than 3 words)

Genre:  Sports Romance

Favorite thing about your genre:  Uh…hello!!!  Hot athletes!!!

A genre that I would love to write:  I don’t really know the answer to that.  I never wanted to become a writer.  I’ve always written, but the fact that I wrote a whole book is as big of a surprise to me as it is to you!

One thing readers would be surprised to know:  I wrote the first chapter to Change of Hart about a year before I wrote the rest of it.  Then I put it down, not really sure why I wrote this random thing.  Then, one day, the story started swirling around in my brain.  It finally go to the point that I was in my brain so much, I had to get it out for my own sanity.  27 days later, it was written and in the hands of my editor.

When writing, night owl or morning person?  Preferably night.  But with so many kids, I do it as I have a minute here and there.

When I’m writing I must have:  QUIET!!!  Hence, why I write whenever the kids are gone.

Pantser or Plotter?  I don’t know.  It seems to change.

I’m currently reading:  Cheaters Anonymous by Lacey Silks.  Holy smokes, it’s good!

My guilty pleasure:  It changes weekly since I’m pregnant.  But right now…McDonald’s French fries.  OMG, I just made myself hungry.

My favorite cover from my books:  Well, I only have one.  But I’m still in love with it.  Murphy Rae (my editor/cover designer) knows how bad I am with visualizing stuff.  She worked really hard to understand my likes and dislikes with covers and created the sexiest person-less cover ever!!

Which character from your books do you most identify with:  All of them and none of them, if that even makes sense.  But I’ll go with Lindsay because she’s based on my real life BFF who is really an elementary school music teacher and who I really make fun of for drinking so much wine.

My number one book boyfriend is:  Dean Holder from Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover, hands down.  (And yes, I know he’s from Hopeless, too.  But I liked Losing Hope better)  I even have the name “Holder” tattooed on my foot!  Griffin Peterson, the cover model on Losing Hope created the signature for me.  I don’t care that it’s crazy and weird.  I love looking down at my foot and having a reminder of where this crazy ball started rolling for me.

Come see me! I will be at the following book signings:  Travelling Bookshelf on August 1 in Fort Worth!!  I can’t wait!!  https://www.facebook.com/travelingbookshelf?fref=ts

My next release:  Currently in progress.  I’m hoping to have it out by mid-July.  But I’m nervous because, while it’s a continuation of their story, it’s more difficult than the first one.  I suspect some people are going to be really ticked at me!
